Learn Intermediate SQL
This course deepens your understanding of SQL, building on foundational knowledge to tackle intermediate-level concepts of databases.
In this course, you will dive into Structured Query Language (SQL), gradually mastering its core concepts. Through hands-on projects, you will navigate the essentials of SQL without overwhelming emphasis on programming intricacies.
You’ll build a solid foundation for crafting SQL queries by starting with fundamental keywords like SELECT, FROM, and WHERE. As you progress, you will gradually encounter additional keywords that complement these basics, such as DISTINCT, ORDER BY, GROUP BY, and aggregate functions, which are essential in gaining advanced SQL skills. You will also gain insights into creating tables and managing the information stored within these tables. You will then learn to add and compute new fields and optimize data relationships across multiple tables using foreign keys.
By the end of this course, you’ll have developed querying skills such as the effective use of JOIN clauses, subqueries for data retrieval, and merging techniques to generate comprehensive reports.
