In this course we will cover the below topics:
Microservices: We will get to know Microservices and will understand why we even need them.
Spring Boot: First we will introduce spring boot and then we will create a full fledged Voyager API which is based on the Voyager Series, so if you a fan of the series, it will be real fun to build an API that you can use on your Spaceship, if you have never seen or heard about the series you will still enjoy it, after all who does not like space and spaceships 🙂
PostMan: We will use postman for testing our APIs, by creating our tests to validate the value that our API returns.
Artillery: Using the Artillery tool we will performance load test our API, using Artillery we can send thousands of requests to our API and see if it returns the results within the defined threshold.
SAP Cloud Foundry: We will no longer stay on our local machine and will use CF CLI to deploy the API to the SAP Cloud Foundry.
Bonus Section: In the Bonus section we will create a Corona Virus API, wherein we will contact the John Hopkins data set to get the values for our API.
