The manner in which service providers design their networks has evolved rapidly over time as new technologies are introduced. In this course, Modern Service Provider Architectures, you’ll examine network designs using technologies like MPLS, optical, and 5G cellular. First, discover the mechanisms for delivering residential and business class internet using DOCSIS, DSL, and GPON access techniques. Next, you’ll explore the various Cisco products and their software architectures, including advanced high-availability features. Finally, you’ll learn how service providers virtualize many aspects of service delivery to improve performance and scale. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of Cisco service provider architectures to begin designing and implementing modern carrier networks.
