Connectivity between Linux and other systems is a prerequisite in most environments. This course will teach you configuring and using networking tools in Ubuntu 20.04.
Most Linux distributions have their own way of managing the persistent network configuration. In this course, Ubuntu Linux Administration: Networking, you’ll learn to manage networking in Ubuntu 20.04. First, you’ll explore IP address configuration dynamically and statistically. Next, you’ll discover how hostnames are resolved and the role of systemd-hostnamed. Finally, you’ll learn how to protect your system with a firewall looking at both IPTables and UFW. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of Linux networking needed to operate and administer Ubuntu Linux servers.
