Selecting and Setting up the Right Aruba Switch
HP Aruba switches are standard layer 2 and simple to complex layer 3 switches. This course aims to give network technicians and engineers the tools to understand, initially commission, and configure these switches for network management.
Imagine that you are the network engineer who will be replacing existing switches with new Aruba switches. Would you be able to do the job? In this course, Selecting and Setting up the Right Aruba Switch, you will learn to choose the right switch for the job. First, you’ll learn how to set it up to be securely managed and configure the correct technologies to ensure redundancy, resiliency, and reliability within the different parts of the network. Next, you’ll explore how to choose the correct switch and how to configure the initial setup of the switch. Finally, you’ll learn all about creating secure log-ins, configuring the VLANs, propagating them around the network (including to other vendors’ devices) and aggregating links to provide more resilience and bandwidth. By the time you have finished, you will be more confident to make the right choice, in terms of switch hardware, and know how to log in and manage the ArubaOS-Switch device for network operations.
