Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD): Monitor and Troubleshoot
Explore the deployment and use of the Citrix Director integrated monitoring solution in this course as you get to know a few of Citrix’s troubleshooting tools and techniques.
With so many moving parts making up even just your small CVAD, formerly XenDesktop, lab environment, you can imagine how keeping track of system behaviors is no small task. Troubleshooting connections that don’t connect or desktops that don’t present can be difficult to impossible without the right tools. In this fifth course out of nine, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops: Monitor and Troubleshoot, you will get to know, and in one case deploy, those monitoring and troubleshooting tools. First, you’ll begin with a look and a deployment of Citrix Director, Citrix’s integrated monitoring solution that spreads across all the components you’ve installed so far. Next, once deployed, you’ll explore the use of this powerful tool for solving a series of common Citrix environment issues. Finally, you’ll go a mile wide and an inch deep into the broad array of troubleshooting tools Citrix has made available over the years. By the end of this course, you’ll be armed with a quiver of troubleshooting tools that’ll get you started in troubleshooting the most common of CVAD issues.
