Learn how to perform DevOps practices on IBM Cloud. Discover tools and services for automating deployments, managing infrastructure, and scaling cloud applications.
At a Glance
In this guided project, you will explore DevOps services in IBM Cloud, focusing on IBM Cloud Continuous Delivery. You will explore how to build, test, and deliver applications in IBM Cloud by using DevOps practices and industry-leading tools. You will practice using the Eclipse Orion Web integrated development environment (IDE) to make changes to your application and deploy updates to IBM Cloud.
In this guided project you will discover how to create a Node.js application in IBM Cloud, use IBM Cloud Continuous Delivery to create a Git repository, set up a delivery pipeline, edit code in the Eclipse Orion Web integrated development environment (IDE), and build, deploy, and test your application in IBM Cloud. Node.js is a server-side programming framework that uses JavaScript as its programming language. You will work with the access management features that you can use to make the application available to other users. You will explore three useful ways to update your application from the Web IDE and see how Continuous Delivery automatically deploys updates from your Git repository.
This guided project will give you a great start in using DevOps and Git to build, deploy, and update a cloud application.
