Good wireless network engineers need to understand how to create a supporting wired infrastructure to ensure success of their wireless design. In this course, Designing Cisco Wireless Networks: Wired and Wireless Infrastructure, you’ll learn to consider wired and wireless infrastructure requirements, define network requirements, and design specialty wireless networks. First, you’ll learn about supplying power to access points, cabling restrictions, and mounting options. Next, you’ll learn to consider design requirements such as data, voice and video, and roaming. Finally, you’ll manage radio resources on your access points, and design specialty wireless networks, such as high-density and mesh. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of wireless design needed to implement modern, accessible networks. Software required: none.
