Co-located and remote work are as relevant as ever and teams working in transnational environments often face unique challenges building camaraderie and streamlining productivity. The speaker brings with her several years of research and collaboration with technology professionals working in global organizations in India. Using data from her research, the speaker will offer strategies for working in globalized teams in ways that emphasize ethical and culturally-aware collaboration. In particular, this session aims to help participants reduce marginalizing forces that can easily develop in teams working in co-located teams that span time zones, language traditions, and cultural norms.
