This course will introduce you to the need for, and widespread use of encryption. It will examine the history of encryption (AKA cryptography), the types of encryption, and most importantly describe encryption keys and key management.
It will then introduce Quantum computers and how they will change the world, for the good and bad, including how they are expected to break today’s encryption. It will explain the current state of, Quantum-safe encryption algorithms and then explain the steps needed, and best practices for organizations to become Quantum-safe.
