This course will teach you how to use Git and GitHub to handle your source code effectively, manage your project, and collaborate with other members.
GitHub is the world’s favorite code repository site. Backed by Git, it makes working with the distributed source control accessible for all developers. In 2022, it has over 70 million developers working on projects and sharing code over 200 million repositories. In this course, GitHub Fundamentals, you’ll learn all you need to know to use GitHub effectively as a developer and make GitHub part of your daily routine of managing your code and your work. First, you’ll explore repositories and the many actions you can do with them. Next, you’ll see how to create and manage branches, work with pull requests, and learn about the GitHub flow to manage your changes.
