Moving Data with Oracle
Moving data in and out of Oracle is a very common task performed by DBAs and developers. In this course, you will learn how to properly deploy these essential tools.
In this course, Moving Data with Oracle, you will learn how to work with Data Pump, SQL Loader, and External Tables. First, you’ll start by creating directory objects and use SQL Loader to load data from non-Oracle sources. Next, you’ll explore external tables, which allow us to access operating system files from within Oracle. Finally, you’ll learn to use Data Pump to move data between Oracle sources. By the end of the title, you’ll be able to move data in and out of Oracle, and you’ll be able to do it efficiently, using the best tool, for the job.
