Understanding how network protocols operate is an implied skill required to be successful in cyber security. In this course, Network Protocols for Security: IPv4 and ARP, you’ll learn to analyze IPv4 and ARP network traffic. First, you’ll explore MAC addresses and how they can be spoofed in a network. Next, you’ll discover the details of the ARP protocol. Finally, you’ll learn how to sift through a malicious IPv4 traffic example. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of IPv4 and ARP needed to find anomalies and malicious activity amongst network traffic
