First, you will learn the specifics of SNMP versions 1, 2c, and 3, all the way down to the packet level. Next, you will learn how to properly configure SNMP for management on Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco platforms. Finally, you will build a network monitoring system and learn how it can help in diagnosing issues. When the course is completed, you will have a thorough understanding of both SNMP and the basics of network monitoring.
