This course is intended for the Architects, BIM Managers, CAD Operators and Architectural Design Technicians who are ready to start using Revit as a Building Information Modeling platform. Software required: Revit 2017.
For the past several years, the process of designing, documenting, and even constructing a building has been improved and refined with the concept of BIM, Building Information Modeling. This course, Revit Architecture Design Development Fundamentals, is intended for the Architects, BIM Managers and CAD Technicians who are ready to use Revit as a Building Information Modeling platform. The tools and topics covered are tailored to fit the design development phase of the architectural design process. First, you’ll learn how to sketch generic walls, floors, and roofs. Next, you’ll learn how to generate area and room plans and also explore working with system families. Finally, you’ll finish the course by learning to work with curtain walls and loadable families and stairs. By the end of this course, you will have a fundamental knowledge of Revit as it applies to architecture design development. Software required: Revit 2017.
