Administering Linux servers can often be depressing; starting new work on a Monday morning and you realize no one knows the root password. In this course, RHEL 8: Operating Running Systems, you’ll learn to gain full control of your existing RHEL 8 systems. First, you’ll explore the boot process and learn to shut down and reboot systems and restrict user access during maintenance. Next, you’ll discover how to reset root passwords when access is restricted. Finally, you’ll learn to tune the performance of the system to match the requirements you define.
