SDN and SD-WAN Fundamentals: Migrating to and Maintaining an SD-WAN Solution
This course will teach you the benefits and challenges of various deployment models to consider before migrating to SD-WAN. You’ll learn about the tools used to manage, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot an SD-WAN solution.
One of the most important technological challenges that today’s organizations face, when migrating to an SD-WAN solution, is selecting the deployment model that will best meet their needs. In addition, once the infrastructure is deployed, day 2 operations are critical to maintaining a secure, highly available, and reliable SD-WAN solution. In this course, SDN and SD-WAN Fundamentals: Migrating to and Maintaining an SD-WAN Solution, you’ll learn the most important factors organizations consider when migrating to SD-WAN as well as what tools can be utilized for efficient day 2 management. First, you’ll learn about a variety of factors to consider such as topologies, the coexistence of traditional WAN and SD-WAN devices, WAN circuit selection considerations, access to SaaS, and vendor selection, before an enterprise migrates to an SD-WAN. Next, you’ll discover the tools used to manage and maintain SD-WAN devices as well as how to implement user and group authentication and authorization. Finally, you’ll explore the basic tools used to troubleshoot SD-WAN deployment and the process of upgrading SD-WAN components. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the fundamental knowledge of SD-WAN migration, as well as understand deployment options, and how to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot an SD-WAN solution.
