Storytelling to Engage and Motivate explores how to identify, develop, and tell effective stories in professional situations, helping expand your skills as a communicator through a deep dive of one of the most effective persuasive strategies.
Even the most effective communicators and business leaders sometimes struggle with blending storytelling into their larger persuasive skills. In this course, Storytelling to Engage and motivate, you will learn foundational knowledge of/gain the ability to identify, develop, and deliver engaging stories in professional contexts. First, you will explore what makes an effective story. Next, you will discover how to adjust your storytelling style according to audience and purpose. Finally, you will learn how to make storytelling a strategic, ongoing part of your professional identity. When you’re finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge of storytelling needed to draw your audience in and keep them. Software required: None.
