On Thursday 13 June 2019, I had an anxiety attack in the workplace. I was overwhelmed, terrified and scared. On Monday 15 July 2019, I announced to my work I was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when I was 3 years old – it was, and still is, the most important day of my life. Today I am embracing my journey and I want to share my story with you, but most importantly, I want to help people understand neurodiversity within the workplace; What does neurodiversity mean? What is the history of neurodiversity? And what benefits can neurodiverse people bring to the workplace? Join me for a conversation around the future of accessibility in the workplace, and how it must include neurodiverse perspectives.
