Supporting a wireless network requires understanding the underlying technologies involved. In this course, Wireless Technology Fundamentals, you’ll learn foundational knowledge of wireless technologies and standards. First, you’ll learn about 802.11 frames, CSMA/CA and how clients connect to a wireless network. Next, you’ll learn about radio resource management and how to keep from causing interference. Finally, you’ll discover how to configure access points and controllers to support a basic wireless network. When you’re finished with this course, you should feel comfortable configuring and diagnosing wireless network equipment in support of wireless networks.
