The CA Foundation Course is the entrance level for the CA course. CA Foundation is a partially subjective and a partially objective test comprising four papers. This level lays down the basic inquisition in someone’s knowledge. The course is to understand accounting principles and implications of the study on various kinds of accounts.
To be eligible for CA Foundation, a candidate must have completed 10+2 (senior secondary) examination from a recognized board in India. There is no minimum percentage requirement for appearing in the exam.
To pass the CA Foundation exam, a candidate must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% marks in all papers in a single attempt.
